Strategic goals of the Park

The ten-year perspective of West Azerbaijan Science and Technology Park is as follows :

Science and Technology Park of West Azerbaijan Province in its ideal horizons over the next ten years will have a set of technology expertise in West Azerbaijan, southeastern Turkey, and northeastern Iraq in the field of international trade and commerce, and will be the main focus of export communication network of any kind of knowledge-based products of the country with neighboring countries, Turkey and Iraq, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Also will be able to act as an engine of economic development based on regional advantages that have a significant and increasing share in the GDP of the province as well as one of the leading parks in the fields of commerce, agriculture sciences, food industry, and mining.
